How to do KYC
Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process for Thai customers, here are the steps
First Step,
1. Open the Maxbit application on your mobile device and sign in to your account.
2. Choose your nationality and then select "Next."
3. Proceed to the identity verification process by uploading your documents.
Please ensure that your documents are accurate, and then click "Next." The system will open the camera for you to capture both sides of your ID card which include
- Front side of your national identification card.
- Back side of your national identification card.
Note:
- Only the original national identification card is accepted; copies are not allowed (for Thai citizens).
- Only the original passport is accepted; copies are not allowed (for foreigners).
4.Please be in a well-lit area and place your card within the designated frame. After completing the process, review the captured images. If the text is unclear, you can click "Re-Scan ID Card" to take new photos and then click "Next"
Second step, the National Digital ID (NDID) (Only Thai Citizen)
1.Select "Mobile Banking NDID."
2.Please read the terms and conditions in detail to ensure understanding. After that, click "I accept."
3.Choose the mobile banking service provider for identity verification and click "Continue."
4.Access the Mobile Banking application to confirm your identity within 60 minutes, then return to the remaining verification steps. Select "Agree" afterward.
5.Verify and confirm your NDID information by clicking "Confirm."
6.Perform identity verification and consent by clicking "Agree."
7.Proceed to the facial scanning step. Your face will be shown within a circular frame, and follow the instructions displayed on the screen.
8.Move on to the consent step, where you need to disclose personal information, verify it, and click "Accept."
9.Once the transaction is successful, return to the MaxBit application and click "Agree."
10.Upon entering, you will find a page for checking personal information. Please provide all the details that match the information on your national ID card accurately, then select "Continue."
Third step, proceeding the suitability test
The test consists of 10 questions to assess and understand your risk-taking ability before using the application fully.
