Can Grid Trade orders be modified?
Users cannot modify the parameters of a running Grid Trading strategy, including price levels, grid size, or investment amounts.
Why the executed price is not exactly equal to the upper and lower price?
- Maxbit is a digital asset broker that routes user orders to the destination exchange. As Maxbit does not match orders internally, the company cannot guarantee execution at the exact specified lower and upper price. However, all executions occur within the slippage tolerance set by the user.
- The Grid Trading is designed to place orders for the user's best benefit, following these rules:
Buy Side: The system places a buy order when the market price drops to, or slightly below, the specified lower price.
Sell Side: The system places a sell order when the market price rises to, or above, the specified upper price.
- Buy Order: When the market price is in the predefined price range, the system will place buy order at the market price plus slippage tolerance. The executed price may lower or higher than the predefined price range, but not more than the slippage tolerance.
- Sell Order: When the market price is in the predefined price range, the system will place sell order at the market price plus slippage tolerance. The executed price may lower or higher than the predefined price range, but not more than the slippage tolerance.
